My reply to a complaint about how slow the story is going currently(Comment on November 28 2011)...
"Firstly, I do agree with Darkside. The last few entries seem very pale in comparison to all of the rest before them. I caught up basically JUST before this lull started, so having to wait a couples of days only to get a short little entry like the above does disappoint a bit.
Secondly, and I feel this is the more important part, we have to remember that we are busy enjoying Chris' writing for FREE. Sure, you can donate if you want to, but you are able to read most of the story without having to pay anything. We must be VERY careful to not come across as ungrateful and whiny bitches. If it was a paid service, by all means, complain. But this isn't.
Some people bitched and moaned that what was "promised" to be a two year project is now looking more like a one year project. For all we know Chris is doing this to stretch the story out a bit due to those complaints. Now we want to complain again because the story is moving along too slowly."
