from everything I know about the virus, the person who owns the infected computer downloaded, either as a video codec, you know the kind. " to watch this video you must have this Flash update, click here" sorta of thing. then it sits on your system for a bit anywhere from a day to a month, then it pops up. it also changes its name, spy doctor, spybot hunter killer and I think Adware can take if off, many times it hides itself, and your system shows clear, then it pops back again later on. you can also manually remove it.
Just a suggestion here, but as soon as you are sure you have a clean computer. copy the registry to a thumb drive. and print off a copy. if you get hit again you can compare the changes to see whats been added, if all else fails, you can format, re install windows, then import your back up Registry, and willl not have to reload all your software if your like me and keep copies of software folders on a external drive. along with all updates, patches and what not.
