Obviously I have a certain.... plan in effect here when it comes to what happens in the Diary, as well as what conspires in the short stories that I'm writing that go along with the Diary.
Having said that... Are there are specific characters or situations that have cropped up anywhere that you would like more information on? Are you itching to hear more about anyone or any fact? Any place you'd like to read more about?
I won't be specifically taking requests here, as I do have a plan that's somewhat structured, but what I really want to hear is what you guys want to read that way i can get what you want out to you fastest, and bestest.
Also, feel free to use this as a sounding board for either the Diary, or the accompanying stories. Good and bad, I wanna hear it.

I'd like to read about what happen to Cassie. Maybe even his buddy that left the note on the door, cant remember his name right now.
Did either survive? Are they holed up somewhere fighting off zombies like Adrian is? Are they walking the earth undead?
Curious minds wanna know.

I'd like to read the story of what happened to Adrian's friends. And I definitely want to here the story on his girlfriend. I know you probably have that in store for us somewhere but I'm dying to know man.

I'd like to hear the story of the hold up in the class room. Maybe the teacher had access to news reports which made her panic more than anyone. or anything describing the initial hysteria. I find it fascinating and Chris, you really describe that type of hysteria very well.

Hard question... because although I would very much like to know what happened to Cassie, his friends, and yup even his family... I like the way the side tales tie directly to Adrian and into his activities that day. Of course sticking strictly to the latter would hamper fleshing (mild pun intended lol) out Adrian's world.
That said... I would like to discover a little side gem telling the tale of cranky Granny from the market getting her face chewed off. What can I say... rude people annoy me :)

I agree with coach, would love to hear a story from the students point of view, maybe even the one that went to visit her family up north or wherever.
Would like to hear the story bout his buddy that left the note on the door
and of course, the story of cassie.

I agree with everybody here. I'd like to read about Adrian's friends and girlfriend (although methinks the redhead in the Benz is with Steve and we'll get that story soon....Yes? My fingers are crossed...). I'd like to read what's been happening in other parts of the world, too, so that military angle would fit nicely. And Lady Gaga; I'd like to hear what happens to her. Only joking a little bit...

Sorry about the double post, but I just thought of something. I'd like to read about the people that Adrian will, presumably, bring onto campus to live with him; what happened to them on 'that day', how they survived, how they found Adrian, etc etc. I know these stories won't work in the diary (for obvious reasons, unless the story is told by Adrian in his diary as an "as told to me" sort of thing), but as side stories they would be fantastic. You could also post them in parts, or chapters, if one entry would be too long. I've always been a huge fan of synchronicity, so I would enjoy reading the stories about how they all came together.

Bite me: Your ideas are what I'm working towards. The scope of the story I'm trying to tell here is frankly frigging enormous, and it takes time to get each gear in place, and turning before I can add more moving parts. My plan is to the Diary itself as the driving force, and the side stories will flesh out the parts of teh story that are interesting or useful.
Most of the ideas mentioned here are on either my "to-do" list, or my "thinking about it" list. I've got other things that will come up eventually as well that you folks don't know anything about that'll become large parts of the side stories as well as the Diary.
Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas they'd like to opine?

I would like to read about his girlfriend. How she felt during her last moments or even now that she is still alive, if she is pissed at him or just wants him back.. or bring
in another girl so there is some romance (for the female readers)
i agree about the granny.. you have to kill her lol you just have to.. like have adrian kill her if she is a zombie, i bet it would feel good lol.
I also (being a science nerd) think he should learn eventually about the science of what is going on. Kinda like how the Walking Dead is about to be showing.
Also I think there should be a pregnant woman involved eventually, trying to keep her baby safe (like dawn of the dead but more into her head)..
being a woman that would be the scariest thing in the world to me... to have to bring a child quite literally into hell.. but she HAS to have undying love for the child lol she
can't be one of those moms that would rather get an abortion if the world was normal... Or someone with a special needs child (like myself) i think that would just plain out suck
trying to wheel my son through herds of zombies...

Even thou you may have thought about it already. My vote is for a group of well equipped and fortified people that screw up with a simple mistake. Now that would be a good read. Plus if its close by it could be a perfect gear up for Adrian.

Dragons: That kind of incident happening in the context of the Diary is very unlikely to happen. Mostly because it's so frequently a way for authors to simply cop out. Hey my hero is low on ammo, and huzzah! He finds a house previously owned by a gun collector. It's just an easy way to kep something moving,
If I ever do something along that line, it'd be as a side tory strictly to show how a good situation can go very bad. And that isn't to be construed that Adrian's situation is permanent, and perfect. He is obviously in as much danger as anyone.
That make sense?

It was only a vote. lol But as a side story far away from Adrian it could be a great story. It could be a different point of view. Think of a group of people with solar power, gardens, strong walls, weapons to spare, clean fresh water, and the most important thing safety. Just to lose it all by a small simple mistake. The part of Adrian gearing up was a wish. I knew it when I wrote it. But had to try lol
