I'm alive. Had no power for over a week and still sick (which is why I lost my job awhile back). Been working on a new writing project too. I need to kick myself and get some more DtR entries up soon.

Been reading both of your online books. I'm pretty fascinated by the "Shadows in the Twighlight" series. Hope everything turns out for you.

I'll be level with you guys since I've come to call several of you my friends. I'm having serious financial issues. I got sick and lost my job. Unemployment won't pay you unless you're "Able and actively looking for work". So the power being down for awhile actually helped out a little bit because our electric bill was lowered and the company that caused the damage to our neighborhood toss everyone a little money. Ironically, enough to catch up on my electric bill. Internet was down for awhile. just paid that to get it turned back on. I'm still sick. Can't work. Its a mess over here.

So I decided to try to write something for money. That's where a lot of my creative energy is going right now. I'm pulling all the positive feedback I got for DtRs main concept and blending that into the setting I started for Shadows in the Twilight and Beggars Rise.

I'm not done with DtR. Its not a dead project. But right now I need to work on this other thing to see if I can make money that way. When I'm ready, I'll post a link here for the new book. Plan on leaving it free while I post entries, give it a few weeks after that, and then try to figure out some financial system for it. It'll be free for you folks though.

I'm still here. Still writing. DtR isn't done or dead. Just need some time.

Hopefully everything will work out well for you. You have a great story, and I am sure people would pay to read it, just like people contribute to help Chris here.

It seems that money, and the lack there of is an issue that many of us here can identify with. I hope you can find a way to get back on your feet health wise and financially. If you get a link up for your writing, I'd save a couple bucks aside for that!

I've been waiting patiently for DtR to return, and it is soooooo worth the wait. I will continue to wait patiently and hope that you can write your way to financial independence! We, your fans are cheering for you and I hope that everything works out for you. Like Chris said, "keep the faith".

Is there a 'donate to d2r' thing somewhere? I can't find it on the D2R site. Wish I can help Jaeger somehow... D2R is amazing, I'm sure most of us who subscribed to AUD will also subscribe to D2R if possible. (We can help Jaeger and she can continue D2R. WIN/WIN!)

I'm working on a trying to finish up the most recent chapter (Frank's perspective) and should hopefully put something out on Monday. Been having alot of issues over here but I think enough have been resolved to at least allow me to keep writing. Thankfully, all this down time has allowed me to come up with a ton of new ideas. Now to just get them put onto the site!

For those of you who have asked, I never put a Donate button on the site because I intended it to remain free. Free of ads and free of money requests. I may need to put something up though. Def not ads. Still considering it.

Anywho, the series isn't a dead project. Its undead. But not dead. Should have some updates soon.
